Job Description

Veterans Next Mission is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and proud V3 - Virginia Values Veterans - certified organization assisting transitioning veterans from active duty and reserves duty into civilian life with a trade in the construction industry. We offer a 48-month Veteran Apprenticeship to all veterans who have discharged with a General Discharge or higher who would like a job working on our in-field, job site construction projects.

No experience is necessary. Veterans Next Mission trainers and supervisors will teach you everything you need to know! You must be able to navigate our rough job-sites and be able to lift at least 60 pounds. Safety equipment and tools are provided.

All potential Veteran Apprentice Trainees must be able to pass a civilian background check and pass a drug test. All Trainees begin at $14 / hour with full time employment. At six months, we offer a $1.00 / hour increase (contingent upon 1,100 hours worked) and successful evaluation. You will work directly with the CEO of Veterans Next Mission, a builder with over 40 years of building experience, contractor licensed, and Vietnam-era Veteran.
