The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) provides outpatient medical services, hospital care, prescription medicines, and other medical supplies to eligible veterans and their families. To receive these benefits, a veteran must generally be enrolled in the VA health system (unless the veteran has a service-connected disability).

Administrative/Financial Programs and Initiatives – Includes information on CHAMPVA, a healthcare benefits program for dependants and survivors of disabled veterans and veterans killed while on duty; VA-financed healthcare benefits for children with spina bifida born to Vietnam veterans; and the State Veterans Homes Program, which constructs or acquires nursing home, domiciliary and/or adult day health care facilities to provide care for veterans.

 

Vet Center - Readjustment Counseling Service


RCS welcomes home war-zone veterans by providing readjustment counseling services in a caring manner, assisting veterans and their family members toward a successful post-war adjustment in or near their respective communities. Veterans serving in many different military operations are eligible.

 

Applying for Benefits


You can apply for VA health benefits by completing VA Form 10-10EZ. You can receive this form by visiting, calling or writing any VA health care facility or veterans' benefits office. You can also call the VA toll-free at 1-877-222-VETS (1-877-222-8387) to request the form.
